Luckdown

A narrative short for Viddsee built around a single confined setting: a woman in her own home, her business failing, her family unimpressed, and a long-distance love interest who has just flown in and now cannot leave. The brief was to land a contained, character-driven piece within the constraints of a pandemic-era release schedule. The film holds its emotional centre, then turns when the audience learns who the visitor actually is. Made for Viddsee’s narrative slate during the period when audiences were watching everything they could find at home.
