An ad for Lux Luminique, Unilever’s premium haircare line, made for the Japan and broader Asia release window. The brief asked for a film that would land with younger consumers in a category dominated by glossy, near-identical shampoo work. We took the form of anime, not a homage but a working anime piece, and cast the audience as the protagonist. The product appears as a turning-point moment in the character’s arc rather than as a hero shot. Made for Unilever’s regional digital release.
