Women in Tech – Sayurbox

A profile film for Amazon Web Services on Amanda, the founder of Sayurbox, the Indonesian agriculture-to-consumer platform that connects smallholder farmers like Ibu Gini directly to households in Jakarta and beyond. The brief was twofold: tell a women-in-tech story without it feeling tokenistic, and surface AWS’s role in enabling the platform without making the film about AWS. We followed Amanda and her team through the working relationship with the farmers, with the technology emerging from the operations rather than being announced. Made for AWS’s regional employer effort in Asia Pacific.
