Celebrating 60 Years

A milestone film for the Housing & Development Board’s 60th anniversary, made entirely in animation. The brief was to span six decades of public housing without retreating to archive footage and slow montages. We built the piece around a family travelling through versions of their own home: the early SIT flats, the four-room template, the executive apartments, the present-day blocks, and the way each generation’s needs reshaped what HDB built next. A history lesson that doesn’t read like one. Made for HDB’s commemorative campaign across owned and earned channels.
