A documentary short for the Housing & Development Board, profiling the architect behind the Bidadari estate and the design choices that shaped one of Singapore’s newer planning areas. The brief was to make the design intent legible to residents and prospective buyers without dropping into architecture-school language. We built the film around the architect’s own analogy: origami, the discipline of making a single sheet do many things. The estate itself becomes the case study. Made for HDB’s design programming on owned channels.
