Remaking our Heartlands

A film for the Ministry of National Development’s Remaking Our Heartland programme, focused on the Bedok rejuvenation phase. The brief was to show what an “upgraded heartland” actually means at street level, told through someone who knows the neighbourhood without needing to perform expertise. We followed Jason, a local tour guide, cyclist, and lifelong Bedok resident, around the changes that mattered to him: the new park connectors, the upgraded amenities, the spaces that had not been there when he was younger. Made for MND’s public outreach around the programme rollout.
