Makerspace

A film for the National Library Board’s MakeIT@Libraries programme, the network of maker spaces tucked into public libraries across Singapore. The brief was to introduce a slightly esoteric facility (laser cutters and 3D printers in a library) to a general audience without making it feel like a tech promo. We followed three regular makers through projects in progress, leaning into the tonal mismatch between the calm of a library and the activity of building. Comedic edit, real practitioners, made for NLB’s owned channels and a public outreach push.
