Frontlines

A documentary short for the Ministry of Education, built around a single relationship that runs across two careers. Ain, now a nurse on Singapore’s Covid frontlines, traces her path back to a Secondary School teacher whose belief in her made the rest possible. The film stays close, refuses to dramatise. A teacher’s reach extends decades after the classroom; the brief was to make that visible without sentimentalising it. Released as part of MOE’s recognition of the profession during the pandemic period.
