Service to Community

A three-part film for the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth, profiling three new Singapore citizens through what they chose to do once they arrived. The brief: don’t lecture audiences on integration, show what it actually looks like. We built each portrait around the volunteer work the subject had taken on, then layered in animation styles that matched each person’s energy: different palettes, different pacing, different humour. The result reads less like a public service piece and more like three short character studies. Made for MCCY’s community engagement programming.
